Erica Cicero is the founding and managing attorney of Cicero Law, LLC. Specializing in collections, estate planning, and property insurance law, Erica is an award-winning attorney known for her dedication to her clients and her legal expertise.
Erica earned her Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where she worked as an assistant professor throughout law school. After gaining value experience and expertise in a variety of legal practice areas, including criminal, family law, and oil and gas, Erica founded Cicero Law as a boutique law firm that could serve the needs Southern Louisiana. Since then, Cicero Law has expanded throughout the entire Gulf Coast and practices in more than 7 states throughout the country.
In her collections practice, Erica effectively recovers debts for clients, while her estate planning services help individuals prepare for the future with customized strategies. As a property insurance law expert, she advocates for policyholders in disputes with insurers. Through her work in property insurance she began to understand the needs of business owners in the storm restoration industry. In her work helping business owners she expanded her practice area to In-House Counsel On Demand and has fought to protect the rights and interests of business owners.
Erica is an active member of the 22nd Judicial District Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association and regularly conducts seminars on estate planning and property insurance law. She also volunteers with local non-profits, offering pro bono legal services and engaging in community projects.
Outside of work, Erica enjoys Louisiana's cultural events and spending time with her husband and two daughters. Erica is an avid traveller and enjoys seeing the world, particularly her beloved Italy. Her commitment to her clients and community makes her a distinguished figure in the Louisiana legal scene.
